My Year in Photography Class

HELLO LOVELIES!!! I’m Kyra Valenzuela and I am a graduating senior at Blair High School. One of the electives I chose to partake in was Photography. I have had an amazing time in this class. My group mates and I really bonded during the year. I have met one of the funniest guy I know, Abdulllah, and I am glad he chose to be in our group. My teacher, Mr. Solis, while a savage at times did take the time to explain things to me when I don’t understand something. Though the projects sometimes were challenging, I can truthfully say that my original expectations in this class were exceeded. Mr. Solis asked us the first week of school what we hoped to learn from his class. I said “Learn to take better pictures”. Not only did I learn how to take better pictures, I learned how to edit photos, how to use Pixlr and photoshop, and how to tell a story in each photo I take. When I first started this class I was afraid of not doing good because technology wise, I’m not very good with computers let alone a camera. I know that I could use the information I learned from him to use in the future. I’m going to miss this class and some parts of high school.
